(SEATTLE, September 17th, 2021) Metrolla, a leading provider of edge data and edge computing solutions, has joined the Batch #4 5G Open Innovation Lab (5GOIL). The lab is an innovation ecosystem that provides startups at all stages with unparalleled access to open platforms and markets needed to create new use cases for next-generation technologies. Metrolla facilitates automation from machine learning with an edge deployment system for smart sensor ecosystems.
During the 12-week program, startups work closely with the partners to accelerate monetization opportunities of 5G, edge computing, and other solutions to fuel the global enterprise move to digital. Participating startups worldwide were selected for the exclusive program through a rigorous screening process that seeks to identify the most compelling use cases for various industries from agriculture to health care.
"We selected Metrolla for Batch #4 because they saw an important gap in the marketplace for the future of autonomous vehicles that wasn't being addressed. We are excited about the work they are doing and looking forward to supporting their development with our partner ecosystem." Jim Brisimitzis – Founder/Managing Partner 5GOIL
Metrolla is excited to collaborate with 5G OIL Corporate and Startup Partners to continue innovating with 5G-enabled technologies with global scale edge computing applications.
